If you are planning to register a NGO of your own and looking for the procedure on how you do it, then you have come to the right place. This will guide you through the whole process of registration in much detail. In order to register a NGO, you must first have a group of 7 Nepali citizens. This group of seven will act as ad-hoc committee prior to establishment of the organization. After registration, the same ad-hoc committee members can act as Board Members or can choose to elect new board members. Once all 7 members have been confirmed, you then have to decide on the name of your NGO. In Nepal, they do not allow you to use English name and hence it should be a Nepali name. It was my dream to have my own blog since quite a long time. But because of several other priorities I couldn’t devote my time to this. Finally, after investing a considerable amount of time and research I am here with my own blog: yugadiliuitel.com.np, that too at free of cost :-) Thanks to Government of Nepal for its effort in digitalizing Nepal.  Another important thing is the name that I chose for my blog “Yugadi Foundation”.  Inspired by Isha Foundation of Sadhguru, I had in my mind of setting up my own charitable foundation and name it "Yugadi Foundation". Though this is not exactly a charitable foundation today but I do believe that sharing of my ideas, opinions and technical knowledge via this platform will definitely aid someone in search of information in the Nepalese context through the digital world. And even if a single person finds these pieces of information useful I will be more than happy.
